At last some service, since last time I posted we have had no services, for some reason the wifi at Gemtree was down but who cares.. Has the Trump been blown yet?? no news of any type for ages. Gemtree was a fab place, we didn't do the fossicking thing because of the bending etc but the camp fire cook out was wonderful, a lovely roast of which I didn't have to cook, the water straight from the bore is worth bottling, the sites were double what was needed and all in all a well worth place to stop. Even met Kate, she is just a warm genuine person who loves the land. Had a great night last night stayed at Molleys well, usual grubs etc there but met a couple of nice people as you do. Now in Tennant creek for catch up and some supplies then heading to 3 ways. I am a tad peed off with some of the residents up this way, George and I had just picked up a couple of bags of rubbish then a coaster type bus slows down to come into the rest area but saw us and decided to stop on the road, a pile of people varying in size proceed to down trou and do various actions so by the time they all piled back into their vehicle the roadside was heavily polluted with a nappy or two, shit loads of dunny paper etc and VB cans. Respect for the country I don't think so from what we saw first hand.. Yes there are rat bags in all races BUT!! end of rant for now. G has headed off to the dump point and to post a letter and heavens knows what he will come back with. BTW the 6th gear has not played up

Great to hear you had a great time at Gemtree, Kate is gorgeous isn't she? She is a 4th generation Plenty Hwy girl and a school teacher like her great grandfather. Did you try one of Aaron's pies? Did you see the movie?

Re the mess makers, probably travelling through and 'not their country' and the VB cans, well that's known as Green Can Dreaming.

Loved it at Gemtree and yes Kate is lovely, saw the movie and the ginger nut the offenders were from the next community up from Ryans well.. Some in every family I guess but we were horrified. Hello again, just pulled into Camooweal for lunch and to have some internet time. Barkley highway is terrible:(
Saw a few bloated cows and 3 dead roos and that's it.. Bloody hot Had fun watching the copper at the Avon Downs rest area, the cop shop is across the road. All he had to do was stand on the side of the road and wave them in some even went into the office for a wee bit:) Heading towards Mt Isa where I shall catch up with a man that was a boy when we lived in NZ Strange thinking as little Ronnie as a grown man.. Anyway time to get a move on, hope you are all behaving yourselves.
