If taking the Coolgardie/Southern Cross route, the cheapest fuel we saw was at Yellowdine, about 30k east of Southern Cross (admittedly some time ago) and if you see the turn off on the northern side of the highway to Kara Lee Rocks somewhere before (east of) Yellowdine you will not be disappointed with the free camp. It's several k's from the highway on a good gravel road and has historic significance, peace and serenity. Toilet, dump point and water were available, no power. And plenty of well separated sites.

Get the fresh road kill and do a cook up for the other campers (for a price) Reception is better than what we have had, plenty of repeater stations for the stations so wouldn't you think one more tower wouldn't be a problem? pigs bum  Beautiful evening here about 90ks west of Isa only 1 cvan and a coaster with us but scattered in all directions. Take care T&M on the way home.

Robert I reckon we are at the David Hall Rest area but no signs, the airfield is the next stop before Iza.. Not too many gravel pits around here either, hate the rest areas that have loos, amazing the amount of people with flash vans go to these loos, I think every rest area should have every stick of grass within 500mts be chopped down, the dirty grubs will shite on any grass within these stops.

Yes you wonder if they do it in their own yard, find a good camp and do not put it on wikicamp could be best practise. Safe travelling.

T1 & T1.5 are about to pull up at our house in Pinjarra.

Good trip apart from fuel leak, slipping clutch & bits falling off......all in the last 50km lol

Good to hear that things are as normal Neil!!
Strange about the clutch though. Must be a seal leaking I guess?
Strange about all the crutch clutch problems though? Must be the season!!

The Clutch/Crutch problem was the diesel fuel (leak) was trickling onto the plate, makes things very slippery. :D

Dot, I don't know how to answer that so I'll let Terry do that.
