Fields of Fire.

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

Is that the place where Steve & Lorraine and Jo & Derek , Peter & Trish etc have stayed? They have been doing a lot of burning off along the Barkley HW but my camera is not behaving so the pics didn't turn out too well. Bet you see the snakes and rats doing runners.. :o

Yes, many of the Highway Wanderers stayed there on the way North. Peter caught up in Townsville.

Thanks for the great images, Peter.
Heading that way mid-September... might look in for an overnighter.
Any 'Tractor Tours'?

Hi Ray,
The site is in geowiki, the boss will take you around the farm [300 acres] and the site manager drove me up to the burn in his vehicle. I would recommend it to anyone. I'm also told the sugar mill tour at Tully is good too.
