Nup wrong Steve Helen  "Saintly" OMG you have lost the plot...

Have just come through Cloncurry and it is very warm 32 in the bus but a nice breeze to help. Time to head off again now so Behave everyone. PS Lots of traffic on this road but the scenery is good. Last night has been the best so far, Dingoes calling to one another, it was great :)

Just so long as they are not cruising through your campsite looking for a feed. That's another 'when I'm looking at ya' story.

Have no idea where we are tonight but it is a beaut gravel pit and no other van etc around at all. just the sound and sight of the occasional truck passing, a cow calling for her baby in the distance and all in all heaven. We stopped at 2pm as it was getting too warm so stopped, out with the chairs, the fly hats, a cuppa. All windows open to catch the breeze, cooked kebabs outside and just had a salad with them and now it is time for a drink and listen to O apart from crickets, cows, and hopefully some more dingoes, might give them a howl later on. :D Plenty of food on the sides of the roads. Heading off towards Julia Creek earlyish in the morn to beat some of the heat as it will be right on the windscreen. Spoke too soon, truck coming in oh well probably just for a pee or  . Have been one or two cheeky truckies so far, not designated as a truck stop 2 of them came in and thought they were smart boxing us in but we were in no hurry so sat them out. Most of the road train guys are good but isn't that in all trades etc. No he is stopping for a kip doesn't bother us we sleep through anything..

Helen it depends on what you want, so far there is heaps of grass along the roadsides, paddocks vary between overgrazing and good grass, rocky hills here and there, not too many trees for man or beast and it is rather warm. Just come through Julia Creek (dump point) had a quick look around but too hot for me. Stopped for morning tea about 10ks out and the big red genny is doing her job, 2 air cons on and Brian is happy. Time to move along to ?? I quite like the country out here but too many tourists and not enough trees   Copyuslaterx

Just 're-read "I Hate Skule" by Adrian Molesworth (Ronald Searle) written in the character of an English schoolboy, and feeling a little playful. :P
