Hi Dot, feel sorry for you having to put up with the heat while we are enjoying the cool climes of Lake Taupo and surrounds. Even visited Hobbiton this morning, it rained prior and directly after our tour and poured all the way back to Taupo.

Yep lucky me, may as won the lottery :D
The temp has come down to a pleasant 25degs after the 35deg, beautiful cool Breeze and the sound of crickets is just wonderful not so much the noise that the other inhabitants are making in our gravel pit. (sprogs x 2) Brian cottoned on to them when we were coming back from his leave no trace walk, he then bolted for the bus. 2 caravans and another motorhome in so far 1935hrs. Anyone got any suggestions of how to keep those tiny flying bugs out as soon as a light comes on? Yes I know. "turn the lights off"

Hi Dottie,

If you're dawdling back south (and I don't blame you!) we might just cross paths...
We plan to be off & away about 12/9/17, up the Newell for starters, then hoo-nose-where.
Target: Cairns in 2 weeks.

Seeing as you are asking others to be your postie-once-removed, I have a job for you...a list of old girlfriends spread from Newcastle to Tamworth & Moree you might like to track down for me. ;)
Love to know if they recovered from the heartbreak of my departure...
I doubt SWMBO would be amused, though... :(

Safe travels...
C Ya Soon, maybe...
Regards & God bless,
Ray
