Re: Progress Update
Good afternoon folks,
Since my last update, lots of work done in the final preparation for lining the walls and the ceiling. Have all the electrics I can think of installed plus extra cables to allow for the “oh shit” factor. The floor where the toilet was removed has been replacedand the entire floor is now flat with new ply. The sparky has been in and inspected and declared all good for the certificate of electrical safety and will issue that as soon as the power points are all fitted off.
Finished making the queen sized bed today. I have fitted it with two electric linear actuators, these are well over capacity to lift the bed with the mattress in place to give us access underneath for storage and maintenance access to the turbo and the air compressor. I have a UB1 under bench single phase air conditioner which will live under the bed also and the air from this is ducted to an outlet to be installed under the cupboard across the rear header above the bed head. The UB1, apart from being extremely quiet, is also rubber mounted to eliminate any vibration. This is only to service the bedroom when the overhead fan can’t cut it for a good nights sleep.
I have also installed an electric television lift, built into the foot of the bed. It is operated on 240volts and has a remote control, when you actuate the television lift, this provides power for the television also.
So now it has all been built, I have pulled it apart (naturally) to paint the whole bang lot and when dry, it will be carried inside piece by piece and assembled. This then gives me the location for construction of the bathroom wall and cupboards etc. etc.
So far, still moving forward! Thankfully

You know the story Dot, you do lots and lots of jobs but often don’t see the progress, people come and have a look and sometimes you just know they are going away thinking, “it looks the same as last time I was here”

That telly lifter doover sounds like a great idea. So your telly will raise up at the foot of your bed?

Yes, it raises high enough to see over your toes. It was the only way I could get a reasonable sized panel in the bedroom.

Re: Progress Update
mmm, now you have me thinking....
I need one that drops down from the ceiling & then can be swivelled 90 degrees.
