Gee you're quick off the mark there Dot. Thanks. I am sure to be spoilt rotten. I have a hidden agenda, his birthday is in two days time. So if I don't get a good day he gets the same thing reciprocated on Saturday.

Have a great day Deborah, will there be one of those nights out at the local restaurant or will dinner be made for you at home? If you get a choice of where you would like to dine out, the Scottish restaurant isn't near as flash as it sounds

Thanks all for the lovely wishes. Yes I have had a wonderful day. The neighbours invited us to come in for morning tea as a farewell for them. They are moving out tomorrow and we will miss them. He cooked very yummo date scones..didn't let on about my birthday to them .
Then we went over to Swansea RSL which has a very posho bistro overlooking the channel and the singing bridge. It has a large metal grid covering where the bridge opens n shuts, hence the singing when you drive over it. Usually we get to watch the bridge open for any tall boats, but not today. The big boats stayed away, but it was still lovely watching the birds n fishos all hard at work while we stuffed ourselves. He cooked dinner tonight too...a piece of toast was all that I could fit in.
