The sun is shining Bernie, looks like a good day for once and virtually no wind. May actually the some things done on the bus and finish of the diff in the cruiser, which picked up last week and found a crack in the diff housing. Tried to weld it yesterday, but it kept seeping oil as soon as heat was applied stuffing the weld, didn't seep any oil when cold. So will attack it a different way this morning and see if that works. Need it for the weekend, but may have to take the bus if can't get it done by tonight as tomorrow we head off.

Ferropre will fix it but also make sure the breather is unblocked! Really need 24hrs to set totally though.
Did you take the bung out while welding it?

Thanks Bruce, will give that a go if need be. Had to weld a bolt to the bung to get it out, the oil looked like it had been in the diff since it was built. Once it was drained it welded fine, someone had already tried to weld it and made a big mess, so it took a whole to grind it back to see where the4 crack was. Hopefully it will be fine now, will have a look after the weekend and may have to re-weld it if it still leaks. Ar least now it has new oil and is full, so even if it drips over the weekend it will be fine until we get home. Left the bolt on the bung so can get a spanner on it, for some reason they are making it harder to work on vehicles, can't wait to win lotto and by an electric beast.
