Stay up there some more Dot, It's suddenly gotten a lot chillier again. The winds are from the South West, so will only push you back up the hill again!

Had a lovely day in the lair with a daughter and granddaughter visiting overnight. Always lovely to have them here. They brought along their tiny cavoodle puppy. Now that has exhausted me totally. It is more poodle than cavalier, and just at that very bouncy and inquisitive stage.
So off to that nice warm bed for me,

What a stinker of a day and more of the same by the looks of it. Might do a night run if this heat keeps up but the thought of hitting a roo puts me off. So goodnight everyone x Goodnight Darryl x

Dot, it's not just the roos. There are a lot of fluff balls out there this year. I don't remember ever seeing as many emus as we did this trip. So be very careful and slow if you really need to travel at night.
It was only 28 degrees here today and there was no wind (at last) so we had a lovely day in the lair. Daughter, granddaughter and puppy have had us running around in circles all day. They finally went home after dinner tonight, so I am pooped.

Little bugg-ers aint they huh?

Fangfarrier today and that was enough for another year. It was a bit tedious, I had an amalgam filling that my father (a dentist) had built over 40 years ago. It's time had come, as I don't want to wait for it to start to swell, as they often do and then crack the tooth. I asked for a forty year guarantee, but the dentist refused to even give any guarantees!

Time for some well earnt ugly sleep, so goodnight one and all. xxx

Good one Deb, are you really 105 years old??? It took me a while to work out what a fangfarrier is. Too many reds maybe.
Getting a guarantee off anyone is bloody near impossible these days.
I will come back later and check to see if anyone has left a candle burning.
