Hi all, who has one of these? Do you like it, is it useful or is it just another gimmicky thing to take up room in your cupboards??
Oh, most importantly, does it cook crisp-on-the-outside roast potatos?

We love our Phillips air fryer https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Philips-HD9 ... SwmoxZt2zJ it's a pity it doesn't have the rotisserie thingy like Brian's, but it does hold a lot more. We have more than once cut up all the potatoes, sweet potatoes, turnips and any thing else you can bake and cooked it up rather than handing it over at the quarantine station as you cross the boarder.
As far as things to make life easier in the kitchen when travelling, the air fryer, the induction cook top, the slow cooker, the rice cooker, the pod coffee machine, the milk heater/frothier, the kettle, not used as much as we thought but the bread maker is a good thing, all run off the inverter and batteries so get used all the time with the odd time a pot on the little canister gas stove for maybe peas or to make up a sauce. We don't have gas in any of our motorhomes so the air fryer is our oven.

Forgot the important bit, crisp brown outside on the chicken, pork, potatoes, sausages... it even cooks the spuds with out any oil or spray and still gives a crisp brown outside

Sounds great Terry, thanks. I like the idea of no gas in the bus. Induction cooktops are awesome.T1 Terry wrote: ↑Sat Oct 28, 2017 4:24 pm We love our Phillips air fryer https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Philips-HD9 ...
