Mannum get together

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

Do ya reckon Bruce doctored the photo to cut himself out of it? ;) Can't believe the pub bloke took 7 photos and bruce isn't in any of them..... it's not like I took the photo, then it would be believable

It was good putting faces to the "identities "
"s funny Bruce aint there , but it's his posting .................

We've been staying at Dot and Georges place helping her get talking back from ''cockatoo'' to human .
Glad to see that she's getting on the mend and could get a few small solids in.
Just don't mention pureed food or smoothies around her

The operation was quite involved, not just a snip and ''she'll be rite mate" but a huge cut from ear to chin, then take a bit of her arm to replace the tongue, then a bit of leg to replace the arm bit.
Then the frustration of convalescing can get Very Trying for both.

Had a quick word with Terry about making a ''portable pack'' to shift between van and house and told "nup not a viable operation" :(
Ahh well another grey brain cell gone LOL ( got a few missing in action lately  )

Ron, have had a 120ah x 12v lifepo4 portable pack for the last 11 years and it is a wonderful accessory to my life. Can carry it round in one hand, is used for fuel pumping, dam pumping, boat pumping, earth mover and tractor jump starting, backup when on the road and has even been used to power our band on a couple of occasions. Just love it and what it can do, yet to get below 12v in all those years and it has been dropped into water, off the truck and left out in the rain. Still has 100% capacity to the best of my knowledge and still in the crap case made out of old aluminum road signs.

Ron was looking for a battery pack to power an air con unit, not quiet so portable and would require the inverter to be plug and play along with the solar so it could be moved from van to village unit and back. I suggested building the whole lot in the back of the Ranger because that could be parked near the unit and simply plug in either the van or the unit as required. The van is stored in a parking area too far away for an extension cord to run from the van to the unit which is the way this type of set up is usually set up.
