K Pod campers

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

It's worth having a look on this site if you are looking to buy as there are always Teardrops for sale. The site name is a bit confusing as it says trikes australia but the link does take you straight to the Teardrop site.

I built my own but I always keep an eye out for what's around and there has been some really terrific Teardrops and very good prices advertised here.

Cheers Mike

That's a great Aussie site for TDs Mike.
Reiner is passionate about them and his advice is always helpful.

Yep, well worth a look Craig ;)

But I not Asian Dottles, but the idea of sending youth to Asian until they settle down a bit and grow some brains is a plan I fully support, so thumbs up to the Vic govt for getting the idea through to law ....... or have I miss understood something :? If the plan is just to polish off the old folk, who will buy all the dodgy caravans they build over that way ;)

Hi Craig, As an alternative have you had a look at the Jayco J-pod and the Avan Weekender from $k8 to $k10 plus options depending on what you want as extras. Marty

Thanks Marty, yes I looked at them early in the piece but they are too wide, too high and too long. The weight is good for the basic model but then you have to add all the extras. If I had even a slightly bigger car it would have been contender but the jimny is what I have to work with.

Well I took the plunge and bought the k pod. Drove from Cairns to Melbourne and picked it up today. Now for the slow drive back. Great little camper and tows well with the jimny.
