I used ply laminated timber boards.

I looked at bamboo and MDF laminates and concluded that they were trouble if they got wet. (Something I couldn't guarantee)

I've noticed the bus expands about 2-5 mm in width between hot and cold. (possibly more???)
The boards do compress a little and bow. It's just noticeable.

Just be careful if it's got old vinyl tiles; some have asbestos in them.

Thanks Jon,

It had rubber on the floor, heavy as but all gone so now all I have now is a ply floor.

That is a fair bit of difference between hot/cold

Cheers, Alan

yes, It's an old 72 Bedford, so all steel.

At home,
We have vinyl boards in the entrance hall; tough and hard.

a Single sheet Vinyl sheet in the kitchen, soft and spongy. (nice in bare feet.)

MDF in the boys bedroom, Hard and 'clacky'

If the floor in the bus is perfectly smooth and flat, I'd go a sheet of vinyl like Bernies.
If a it has holes, divots etc, then the vinyl or other floor board would be the go.

Can you tell me who makes it and perhaps where you bought it?

Yep, was the big green shed. Look for the waterproof stuff. If you lay the floor before anything else it should be easier..upside is you do not need a perfect surface to go on.
We have done 3 houses and now 2 motorhomes. This stuff the easiest by far.
