Almost good afternoon eveyone! What a week between up & down to Brisbane to see 15year oldGrandaughter swim at State titles. and we are all very proud of her. Both her 100 & 200 breast she had great PBs in heats as well as finals, as well as qualifying for Nationals next year and coming 6th in 100 & 7th in 200 in Qld. Never seen her smile so big.
Hope you are all well & if travelling - safely. Informed Emily's(swimmer) mother that her Christmas present this year is all the sandpaper plus labour for stripping her bedroom suite to bare timber- what a job & thank goodness Bruce did all the rough & I did over with the finish sand! Still have bed to attack & bought duchess home with us this morning after last swim.

Morning another nice cool night here again. Picked the son up from the airport late last night as a surprise for his sister. We are celerbrating her birthday tonight. Good to have the family together if only for a day. Robert

Bernie, we’re at Liffey State School donation camp. Flushing toilets and non-potable water. We have it all to ourselves. Quite uneven so ramps required. Drove up to Liffey Falls. Road is pretty rough and steep and will be closed from the 19th for maintenance. Not sure what they can do to improve it apart from filling in the potholes. So pleased we decided not to take the van to the Lower Liffey Campground, pretty though it is. Really only suitable for tents and whizzbangs.
