With all the Christmas left overs, we have had a few cases of Pancreatitis. Please do not feed your dog ham, or any form of meat
related to a pig - it is extremely fatty and can make your pet very sick.
This was a notice (above) was from the Bomaderry vet Clinic.
Poor furbabies , Pancreatitis is a very painful condition for humans let alone animals that most likely wouldn't get vet attention.

Thanks Dot, I didn't know that. Luckily for Bandit the powers that be decided that we weren't having a ham this year. I'm still a little bit pissed off about that, but the bride is aware. Bloody rellos. Won't have to talk to most of 'em 'til next xmas, so that must be a bonus.

Cheers

Re: Banal .. Open to any topic on and off topics etc
We still have a small chunk of ham left for sangas. Best thing I have done for a while, was to cut the ham into big chunks and cryovac each bit separately. Some of our freeloaders would have eaten the whole ham in one sitting if they knew about the bits stashed away in hidden compartments in the fridge!
Now woolies are trying to clear the ham off the shelves, so now you can have a cheapie David, and not have to share with the freeloaders.

Yep, I reckon that's the plan. I will ask the person that goes to the shops to pick one up for me.

We had 3, I won one at bowls in a raffle, we win credit at the local butcher so had more than enough $$s to order one & the g'son who lives with us came home with one & a bottle of wine from his employer, Xmas wouldn't be the same without ham.
The one I won has a use by date July 2018 so thought I would keep it for Easter that's if it lasts that long with my clan

Our lovely bosses gave us a big ham and wine and chockies. I cut the ham into slices and froze for future use otherwise we never would have gotten through it.
They also bought us this

With each new generation they look more and more like cars and less and less like 4 wheeled motorbikes, that one looks great.

Janelle, Does that new Honda go fast enough to catch up to a mob of goats or pigs ???? Or are they just for rounding up the house cow?
