Crunchy will sleep most of the time unless there is food. Is fully toilet trained [I don't know if she would go outside on a House Boat.

Chrunchie has just "Christened" the boat  My Brian (pussy) popped his head around our door and saw Crunchie, promptly doubled his size and retired back into our room
Beautiful evening here tonight sky is a nice pink shade ready for the hot weather approaching.

Shirley,

yes, it sounds strange, but they reckon the virus is a fish virus and ok for people.

When we lived in Cairns 47 yrs ago the cane toads where huge, if you ran over them at night especially after rain you could hear the crunch, I can't believe how wide spread that they have become, last week it was reported one was found at San Remo, Central Coast NSW.

There are reports the cane toads on the outer fringes of the invasion are still strong and healthy, but those in the areas that have been populated for quite some time are not near as healthy. It might be a case of them dieing off from the centre of the infestation and that circle spreading outwards.
They certainly are adaptable creatures, some have even been found in areas where it snows.

As far as eating the carp, I think it's a matter of them being so plentiful people consider eating them to be below their dignity level. I think if push comes to shove and people are starving, carp would be a great food source that breeds quickly, might not be a long time smart move to kill them off.
