Hi everyone , well the day finally arrived and we are into day ONE of a year long trip (we hope) , final destination is Tasmania .
The day started with overcast sky's just like it was yesterday but no rain . Today decided to do the opposite and rain...bugga .
We started to get light rain about a hour into the trip but it looked promising so I continued on...BUT it didn't get better only worst . stopped and had smoko at Woolomin and the rain became lighter just light showers , so we travelled on by the time we arrived at Kingaroy it really started to get serious so here we are just south of Kingaroy at Alwyn Francis bridge on the Stuart river a council free camp .
The rain hasn't stoped so we are here till tomorrow .
We are all of 3 hours from home .
Bernie .

3 hours in one day
You’ve got a whole year, slow down, at this rate you’ll be back home in May. Our first trip to Tassie, day one was 45klm to Rollingstone, that was a big one

I envy you having the time up your sleeve, we seem to clock up between 400km and 700km a day when we travel because there is always time line to meet and we always start out behind schedule
Enjoy your travels.

Afternoon all , we are now at Bingara NSW . We made a decision to move from Kingaroy , outside the bus was just water I know Bruce and Wendy like it like that ....but ...in a motorhome NOT GOOD . So we done 500Ks today to get to sunshine , plenty here and for the next week .
It rained only lightly till Dalby wipers only on intermittent and from there to Inglewood I used the wiper manually as needed .
So Norman you have some Kingaroy "secrets" mate .
Will catchup with you Jon in Tassie . No doubt .
Its been raining for the last two days back home my yard is awash so the neighbour's tell me . Good thing we went when we did ??
I have full phone service ( optus) and full internet (Telstra ) must be new towers about had bugger all 3 years back .
For those that know the area we are about a dozen or so Ks east of Bingara on the southern side of the river .
This is the start of our journey we needed to be out of Qld and was the plan to be here in two days and we may stay for a week .?
There is no one else camped here ( must change my deodorant ) ?
All for now .
Bernie .
We done a biggy Terry .
