Brnie, don't believe him, you know our ram was feeling a bit "frisky" so watch out with that deodorant you use as it attracts Rams. ;)

Hi everyone , haven't been doing much went for a run to Copeton Dam and went up to the look out above Bingara .
also went out to a gold mine yesterday but he wanted to much of my money to show us stuff we already knew ( if he had reasonable price we may have stayed) no matter his loss .
We have one caravaner parked about 300mts from me... Ted and wife from Sydney .

Hi , another day relaxing we went and had a pub meal for lunch (salad for dinner) first bought meal so far (I don't count pie's) . Went and had a look at the new water dispenser for CV's and motor homes . Thought it was a bit of a rip off as you can only buy a minimum of 0ne dollars worth which relates to 333lts old mate up from me is a bit pissed as he only has one 20 lt drum and it still costs him a dollar!! I will fill when we leave here .
I was told by a local that the council installed it to stop the locals filling up their 1000lt tanks for free , don't know if that's a fact or not . The tap that was used by all before has been removed plus the park on the northern side of the river has had ALL the taps removed .
had a few try's at catching dinner in the river but the fish have other ideas .
Bernie .

What great idea. Can't see an issue about paying a $1 for water, you can't buy a 500ml bottle of water from the shop for a $1 and how much does the 10 ltr bottle from Woolies/Coles cost? If the locals can get 1,000 ltrs for $3 that's still cheap in my book.

Yeah the dollar supplies and maintains the equipment too. Cheap as.

I bought water in Denham at a Water Authority facility for $1 per 20 litres. No other options other than booking in to the local caravan park, so they've got you on the hook.

Might stifle the argument the caravan parks put up about free camping and not paying for the facilities.
