This is some of the Gmans spots
That looks like a washing powder reaction, try washing his stuff in wool wash or similar neutral try detergents. There was a washing detergent to did that to me at one time, a poor wash rinse will sometimes have a similar effect so might be worth thinking about
I also reacted to some brands of washing powder which caused an itchy rash. Cure don't wash :lol:

Nothing has changed in regard to washing powder Phil, always use woolwash and white vinegar for the rinse. Rash has gone today but most likely it will be back tonight. We had some rain today plus a visit from another one of the little boys that was our neighbour in NZ, he is now 52yrs old and such a nice lad. Off to Mt Barker tomorrow for G to see the GP and then down to the city for me to see the hand/arm specialist about my hand.

Dot,

Just wondering, do you have water filters on the mains?

Maybe they are blocked? Or maybe you need one? Just a thought.

Also if it comes and goes so quickly, do you think it may be related time?

Where he is? What he's doing? What he's touched?

Or both, some not necessarily prescribed by his local GP ;)

It does sound allergenic. (sp??)

Like how quickly do you start sneezing with dust;

or some people react to a peanut in 30 seconds. (epipen)

Q: Have you tried a super strong antihistamine? It wont some the problem- but might give some relief.

So many suggestions, jd we only use tank water with filters on town water for gardens and loos., Nil medications did G take before this started.. washing stuff the same. food nothing new or different.
He saw the GP today for check up, she increased the steroid tabs for another 2 days. She was pleased his breathing had improved and so had his appearance, the rash has barely shown itself today apart from a few spots here and there. His cough has also eased off and is not so violent, he has the next blood test on Wednesday. What ever has caused the cough it is a virus for sure but what type?
Then we went to see the hand / arm specialist for my poor donor hand (arm) he sent me next door for a plain X/R WOW :shock: :shock: what I saw was heaps and heaps of metal clips all the way along the scar line and around the hole where the meat was taken for the tongue?? Then hack to the specialist (10 minutes later) as expected no breaks etc BUT as I feared I have that old friend of mine back. i.e. RSD or CRPS :cry: :cry: so I am in for another hard time with this shit of a thing :cry: You will have to google those letters as it is very complicated condition.
Got home at 6.30pm totally knackered and also we hit the best of the peak hr traffic.

Dot, One of the young guys at work started to get a little bit of a rash that sort of looked like dermatitis then it turned into the full blown allover rash similar to the Gman pics. It turned out that he was allergic to the dust given of by the hammertone paint that the interior racking/shelves that is fitted to all our vans. A change of vehicle and the problem went away. And that poor bloke got prodded and poked by a multitude of specialist medicos before the apprentice that was working with him twigged to the prime cause. I hope that G can get his woes sorted out soon.
Cheers
