pump...

Post by norman »

This one is a teaser, When the fresh water tank is full every thing works fine ( taps that is). Use around 10-15 lts of water and can only get a dribble of water and a lot of sputtering or sucking air. Fill tank again( not Keith) and every things fine. The tank holds 110lts...any clues on this...

Hi Norman!
Turn off the drain tap? Cracked or split hose somewhere between the pump and the tank.

Before you 'go under' Norman are you sure the vent isn't blocked? Wasps like playing games on people!!
Sometimes if you pressurize the tank you can SEE the leaking place.
Hook the garden hose onto that pipe that goes INTO the pump & try it?
