Have a big garage sale and start afresh, that gives Anne a good excuse to go shopping.

We made a lot of trips brings furniture and other stuff we didn't want to have to buy new again ...... then bought a fully furnished house Now have a workshop full of "stuff" packed in boxes just waiting to be unpacked and it have been 2 yrs already. Luckily we have multiple motorhomes so each needs all its own stuff of course, and we just happen to have multiples of everything on hand, just in boxes that no one can be bothered to unpack
If you don't already have a workshop to put all the stuff in, leave it behind so you only buy what you need and don't pay to store stuff you don't need ... well it's the start of a plan anyway The exception here is a really comfy bed, if you have one of those then bring it with you, costs a small fortune to buy multiple replacement beds until you find one both partners agree is comfy .... you don't want to know how I gained such wisdom do you pillows are another must keep if you find comfy ones for the same reason
