Not up here but when we get to Vic yes & that will be May/June Lance, hope you both well. Toom everthing out of van last April when we moved back home & winter things usually stay in the van as we do not need them up here.

One nighter Chuck, had a mongrel truck driver doing the right next to us banging and clanging etc, heaps of room and we were way out of the way. (and the stop isn't a truck only spot) Yesterday when we stopped for lunch a smart assed truck driver pulled alongside and just in front stopping us from pulling out so I backed up (with car on) pulled right next to his cab and gave him a long loud blast from the nice air horns, his head was just in the right position and he was asleep. Just another one of those cowboys doing the smart ass thing. Wrong person to do it too without consequences. ;) Before any old truckies have a go where I parked was well out of any one's way and was heaps of room all around, no need to squash or cuddle up to anyone else. (end of rant heading off now ) :D

Started putting the radiator back in the Hino. It took about 10 hrs to get it out and it looks as though it will take twice that to get it back in and back together again .... have I ever mentioned how hot it gets in the workshop  that's roughly the colour after a few mins

Well, it's back in and running. Still needs the grill and inside floor covers etc refitting, but quite happy with my days work today and yesterday. Radiator mob said the core was 60% blocked and air flow 30% blocked so I'm guessing that was the over heating problem.
Fitted a Tefba filter at the radiator inlet and another one at the top hose outlet at the engine end in the hope of filtering the rocks out so it doesn't clog the radiator up again. A run around the block and it seems a lot better but won't really know till it drags the trailer up a hill.
I've added a ltr of 85% concentrate phosphoric acid to the rad water, well it was the bucket full I used to soak the hoses to get some of the scale out, couldn't waste it so it went in the radiator water as a cleaner. I'll clean the filter traps a few times before we head off to stone The Crows at Easter if it still looks to be running cooler.
