A cheap controller might be worth a lot less than you pay for it Tell me what the labels on the back of your panels show as far as Voc or open circuit voltage, Vmp or maximum power voltage, Ioc or short circuit current (amps), Imp or max current output (amps) and advertised capacity and how many panels. Do you also have portable panels? Are all the panels the same advertised capacity and Voc?
From there I should be able to aim you in the right direction. I'm guessing the panel voltage is a miss match to the battery voltage because Tracer controllers are of the MPPT type.

Terry the solar panels (3) 200w have been on the bus for 4 years all bought from the same supplier also the controller , I don't know what is wrote under the panels and as they are fixed impossible to see . I have had this problem since Taggerty 3 years back all still the same batteries and panels .
I only had one battery at Taggerty but added the other there .
And it still runs the house just not as I would like .
And yes I know its a MPPT controller .
Suggestion's ?

Need to know the open circuit voltage so I can determine if they can be connected in series and fed into the controller. A total of 600w would produce around 40 amps so that part I now know, just need to know maximum voltage the controller might see from the solar.

Bruce I'm not sure that I can convince "the bank" that it's worth $150 odd to change over... just for smartphone integration. In fact, I'm sure I can't [emoji23]
I do know they are in parallel cause that's how I connected them but to know the open circuit is not possible out here in the bush .
Not climbing on roof to find out its 3.6mts high .

If batteries go to Boost voltage.....then via Absorption stop at Float voltage say 13.4v ....and as soon as the charging source is removed it goes to 12.5v, then unfortunately your batteries need replacement.
I assume you have not recently added an Inverter with very high standby current.
