Bernie, a few years ago I had a similar problem with TV reception and found that by disconnecting the amplifier I could get perfect signal from multiple stations. It appears that the amplifier was over amplifying, causing the problem. Since then I have not had or needed an amplifier.

Bernie try testing the voltage on the power wire going into the booster that is usually near the TV.
I had a chap here with similar problems & the power brick was cactus.
From memory it has to be 12v.
Found some cold weather by the sounds of it?? hehe

Hey Bernie, remember your credit card saga? Well I can go even better. Went to use ours today and Declined - Card Expired despite expiry date of 09/20.

Rang their help line in India I suspect. After much tooing and froing, it appears that our provider has had a merger too and new cards issued. However, the kicker here is, the card was posted YESTERDAY and will take 5 business days to reach our home address which, of course, we are nowhere near. And both our credit cards are now unable to be used in the meantime. What a joke!! We are lucky that we don’t have to rely on it but how would others cope?? Oh, by way of compensation they are giving us 1000 frequent flyer points - that equals $1! Looking for a new Credit Card provider. [emoji30]

That's not good Lesley , we are just treated as mushrooms , as you we had other ways of paying if it came to that , but we were lucky that our daughter is collecting our mail (and opening) and could forward it to us when we were up in the Yarrawonga area . We will also close that account down when we have some sort of semi-permanent address here in Tassie .

We went up to Uppa Castra yesterday to visit with our nephew who has a small farm there (cattle sheep and a few horses).
We cant get up his drive way at present due to over hanging trees (with the bus) he will remove them soon as he does want us to stay for a while .
We were all going to the Stanley area this morning to pony club (Cathy teaches) but was called off late yesterday arvo due to 30mm of rain expected there today . Cathy (niece) teaches show jumping and is/was a Tasmanian champion Ray (nephew) is a course designer .(the bloke that pick's up the sticks hehe)
So I don't now know what Carol and I will get up to today ?

Morning all , we moved to Railton yesterday to the CMCA camp $6 per night . Caught up with Kay and Lesley's friends Val and Chris , we will stay here for 5 days and see the sights in the surrounding area .
Tuesday we went to Burnie ( Bernie was in Burnie ) to catch up with friends doing a cruise around Aus , had lunch in a "café" on the beach (fish and chips)
Done a bit of shopping in Kmart and best and Less and other shops . Went to a craft place where you can make paper from Roo Poo and look at other exhibit's of local stuff .
All in it was a full day , weather was good started out with jumper hour later was a pain carrying it .
Bernie .

Bernie was told yesterday by our Dr who was in Tassie last year that ( she thinks) somewhere between Burnie & Davenport there is a town with beautiful murials on the buildings. I have to do DVDs of our trips for her as she & her husband are Dutch South Africans, both DRs & have a Kedron so they want to know as much about travelling as posible. Had to convnce her a few years ago not to go to Birdsville in December- took a lot of convincing.
Time is passing too quickly so live life to the full with your spouse/partner while you still have she/he by your side.
