Slow cookers.

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

I have two, the one I like the best is the cheap K mart one, very simple to use LO / HI and OFF But remember it is a throw away world and things are not made these days to last forever :)

Have a large name brand for years and a Aldi small one for the past two years. No complaints at all and love being able to set and forget untill the aroma becomes unbearable.

Coming on winter Aldi will have their slow cookers on special again, the last year model had 3 different inserts so you could cook what ever size meal you wanted. Cheers Robert

We bought a small unit that makes a large meal for 2 or a normal meal for 3 from Target for $10 back when we first started messing with the batteries, so over 7 yrs ago. Still take it away with us, we cooked up the stuff we didn't have room in the air fryer to cook so we didn't have to give it away at the border crossing on the way home from Wagga after the Easter get together. We used it again the other night to boil up a load of chicken wings to make a new stew/soup recipe I'm trying out ready for Taggerty. We put the bones and other bits back in for a second run to make a second batch of chicken stock which we froze.
We also have a serious sized unit, great for larger dinners or cooking up a few days worth of stew so we can freeze the uneaten part for later. I think that one cost $50 from K Mart around 5 yrs ago and that still works well, although it needs a tea towel wrapped around it to hold the heat in so it can slow simmer on the low setting.

When you go to buy one, take a lamb shank with you and make sure it fits ;) . I hate having to cut the shanks in half so they can fit in the cooker.
