The bloke with the 2 wooden legs didn't do so well. Got caught in a fire and burnt to the ground. Insurance refused to pay and the legal mob said he didn't have a leg to stand on. Police picked him up bumming around and having no visible means of support they charged him with vagrancy and locked him up.
A person may fail many times, they only become a failure when they blame someone else John Burrows

"tanks" here---Dot,
Mr.Russell was asleep at my feet and did not wake up. Being deaf, he did not hear the sirens. He woke up about 30 mins later.
I was asleep watching TV and I thought all of the sirens were from the TV 'untill I realised the red and blue light flashes in the front room were from the ambulance and fire engines --3 fire engines, the ambulance, and a few police cars had the street blocked off.
Lots of spectators gathered on the street watching the action.
The link I posted did not work. Just google House fire Dysart for a picture and story.

Re: Banal .. Open to any topic on and off topics etc
What the hell is this country coming to? George had his new driving license sent to him last month then 2 weeks ago he got another one sent to him. We were going to cut it up and dispose of it but the next day we got a letter to say they (SA revenue or something) had sent an extra license and for it to be taken to their office in the city. So after we saw my physio we went to the office and I took the letter and licence into them, OMG the place was overflowing out the doors so I spotted a vacant desk lady and put it in front of her and said"I am dropping this off for my husband" she then told me I had to take a number as she had to process it. I told her "I am not waiting here all day I will drop this into a police station" she said "you can't do that, I have to process it, where is this man?" I told her he couldn't walk" so I turned and told her "I would drop this into the cop shop as a found item" and I left. Would you believe I got a few people clapping and saying "here here" How much of this crap do we have to take from these government places where you have to cram into a place and wait for your lucky number to be called sometimes for an hr or more.? They can get stuffed as far as I am concerned. They are the ones that cocked up so let them come here to collect it. end of todays rant
Then I went to Ikea while Gman went to get some mens stuff.

Good stuff Dot .
My rant.
On two occasions this week I have had fellow campers camp almost with in me .
Now before I go on there is about one to two acres of ground here and a handful of campers .
The first a caravan parked so close to the back of the bus I could just open the boot , and almost stopped reception on the Satdisc.
He left the next day (wonder if it was suppin I said )
The second parked across the front of me (motorhome doh) now I'm a curious sort of bloke so I thought I would ask him why he parked up in front of the bus .
His answer.....wait for it......his wife wanted him to park there...I did ask him if he would remove his beanie so I could see the thumb print...
He arrived after the lady who gets the money ($8 per) but as a few have been coming late and leaving early she made a run after dark...caught the prick...he did leave early yesterday morning...
Another arrived last night at 9.30pm and left this am around 5...tight arcs's .
On a good note the lady who collects the money came around yesterday arvo and handed all the campers here a bag of Anzac bickies nice touch .
Bernie .

Bernie wehad a Juicey van arrive next to us at 12mn at Yelarbon- only us there! Asked them in the morning if they had put their $15 in the envelope. One said where & immediately another one said she did it at 12md! Give her the benefit of the doubt.
