I have been having a problem with mice in the MH inside the shed. I bought a couple of Ultrasonic devices to try, given that most else has failed. My question is not as to whether these devices work!
For some strange reason I read the instructions. They said "Do Not Connect to Power Inverter" I had intended to use Solar / 12v battery / 600W Pure Sine Wave Inverter (not the MH inverter) / Ultrasonic device.
Please explain?

Steve, Is there any more info on the instructions? Maybe a link to a website?
I can't really imagine why they could not be connected to a PSW inverter, but I can think of a few if it was only a modified wave type.

The Nooski traps have worked extremely well for us over the last week. Ten bucks each at Bunnings.

The instruction makes no mention of the type of inverter.supersparky wrote: ↑Thu Apr 26, 2018 9:21 pm Steve, Is there any more info on the instructions? Maybe a link to a website?

Where do you put the batteries?

I thought those systems claim to use the wiring in the wall as part of their barrier.

My research suggests two main types; electromagnetic - that use the wiring of the house, and, ultrasonic, that use high pitched sound. The one I purchased is ultrasonic. The electromagnetic are much more expensive. I am using the ultrasonic based on the advice of a friend who has had success with same. Time will tell.

Steve, My thoughts are that it should be OK with a PSW inverter. The modified wave type would probably not help the frequency converter in your new toy. Good luck. Let us know how it goes.
Cheers
