I saw Ukuleles mentioned, let's talk Ukes.

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

Looked for a Baritone Uke on line yesterday and if I had time for it to get here I reckon I'd buy one. Deeper note and louder in acoustic mode with quite a few also sporting the gear to connect to an amplifier. That should be enough to annoy everybody within a 1km radius

Someone said to me, "Ukuleles are for people who can't play a musical instrument".

I said, "..............................." (Fill in the missing words)

The 20 yr old g'son has two ukuleles, he is very musical also plays guitar, piano & sings, guess he gets it from his Melanesian mother, her whole family are talented with music, they can tap a tune on a bottle & the harmony when they get together singing is great to hear.

I said, " nobody can play a musical instrument till they have an interest and are shown how, and I betya most can learn to play a Ukulele quicker and easier than most other instruments "

 Is that what you said to them Steve ;)

Terry, a Baritone is a different type all together.
They are tuned DGBE, the same as the top four strings of a guitar whereas a Uke is GCEA.
A Baritone can be tuned as a Uke but the strings need to be replaced due to pitch.

Well I suppose flippantly saying " I agree" is out of the question now. :) :)

I nearly bought a uke the other day.
But it was a four-door with a short tray, and I need the load space. 8-)

Oh, you said UKE.
I thought you said UTE...
