I think it's worth mentioning that the camera that pinged Gary could also be faulty, It wouldn't be the first time.
There was a case in Vic where hundreds were booked for doing exactly the same speed on various days by a certain camera, A Police Woman was pinged by the same camera and fought and won the case when it was found that the camera was wrongly calibrated.

While I could see no real point in posting the obvious (law is for a reason) other than a little bit of 'he deserves it', I don't think it deserved the jumping on that it drew.
There are laws that are demeaners & others result in a criminal record.
From past experience most of the first are mostly revenue raising activities.
Of course everyone should obey the law at all times but in reality has anyone NEVER broken a law of some sort?
I think this topic has run it's course & it's time to holster your guns.

It could very well be a faulty camera. One day on my way to work the traffic report came on warning drivers that a speed/redlight camera was activating for every car. I took note of the time as I went thru that intersection just incase I got a notice in the mail.
I'm wondering how long the road was, or was it downhill. My MH would struggle to break any speed limits.
The other option would be to move interstate get a new licence and pay your fine from there. You just won't be able to drive in the state you are from (or has that changed now too?)
I am a man of many talents, being direct is one which seems to raise the most interest...

If you loose your licence in one state you can't get another one in any other state.
