New BMW Police Pursuit Car

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

New BMW Police Pursuit Car

Post by Greynomad »

Victoria Police has just placed an order for ten new BMW Pursuit Cars.
Here's a sneak-peek at the evaluation prototype...

That's real sneaky. Who'd guess that a supercharged V8 was hidden inside.

No, they are electric, limits the length of a high speed pursuit before the AA cells need to be replaced so they can get back to the station for their coffee and meal break so they can meet the new conditions under the health and safety regulations. It's all an integrated package designed to the Police and general public safe and leave the revenue collecting to the private contractors and speed cameras ;)
It would be funny if it didn't somehow ring true eh

T1,
I thought the idea of electric pursuit cars was to limit the length of pursuit to the length of the extension cord...

I think D24 would have called off the chase before the cord ran out. Another win for the bad guys.
