Speeding tickets

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

You can if you get it before you loose the other one... :D

Whether you get to keep it is another question... :?

All states are computer linked now for warrant serving, license and registration checking etc.
You may be right Chuck but I'm sure in SA you must DECLARE if you have a license in another state.

Do they still allow you to have your license for going to and from work only??

Crikey, that got more attention than I expected. Have been on a cruise for a 10 days and only got home yesterday. Thanks for the adice and options I have explored most of them with the exception of crook camera.
To clarify I was not trying to get out of the fines or the demerits just looking to restructure to allow me to keep Licence, because
1 My wife does not have the licence nor could she drive the bus full time for 3 months
2 We follow the caravan/campervan/motorhome shows around the country to make a few $$ to fuel the bus and I have booked and paid for shows up to October 2013, loss of licence would have cost us a grand or more in lost site fees, that makes the penalty way out of proportion to the offence along with double demerits
I see nothing wrong with this and I do not see myself as a mad/bad speeding driver, just distracted at the wrong time.

As for leniency you have to have a clean sheet for 10 years unfortunately I wore one for my wife a couple of years back (this can also attract a fine) and 8 years ago I had another picture taken so that avenue was no good. The fines are collected by a collections department so I dont think there is much compassion in the process. Driving without a licence can attract jail time or big fine. I rang QLD RTA and spoke with a chap there to see what I could do. 13 demerits in NSW for licence suspension 12 in Qld. I looked like loosing 12 so NSW was ok but as my licence is Qld it was going to go BUT and this is a big BUT when the offence occurs interstate the fine sticks, (NSW get the bucks) but the double demerits do not, so I only have 6 demerit points on my QLD licence, all good licence is OK.
I have turned up the volume on the GPS and she along with the navigator are enough to keep anyone in check
