Thankyou all for the good wishes and the get together on the boat. Seems I got my arse on TV after all, must have been a better look than the face.
At least 3 1/2 yrs before I get my old people's allowance, late 2021 Christmas present I suppose, no doubt pensions will be abolished by then.
Just opened a letter from my solicitor that informs me I'm not eligible for any Centrelink money till Jan 1 2019 because even though I didn't end up rich out of the settlement with NRMA, lots of others did and it's all measured on the actual settlement sum and not what is left after their snouts are dragged from the trough.
Seems if I'd managed to get a Centrelink pension before the court case either NRMA would have been forced to offer more or all concerned would have to take a haircut, my bad for even going to a solicitor in the first place and secondly for listening to a word they said
