On a bull bar, chipping would be far more likely if this was done. The adhesion isn't too shabby though.

Did they chromate the bar before the original powdercoat?

Cheers, Steve
Dont know about the chromate, but since the last email( they are in Qld, I'm in Adelaide) They said the will sand blast the the wrong stuff off first ...

So fingers crossed, should turn out ok... ;)

Hey, Dottie,
DEJA VU!
We’re p***ed off at not getting OTR, too.
However, that has more to do with helping Son-and-heir while he recovers from a broken leg.
Had to cancel our trip to Bundaberg in June/July, as he’s unable to drive and g’daughter needs to get to school. Travelling to Melbourne every second week for taxi duty. 🙄 (Mum does the intervening weeks.)
Hoping he recovers faster than the prognosis of the drs.
Regards & God bless,
Ray

Did very little for 2 days other than search for a 12v battery charger ........
Yep! Wendy found it under a blanket on Margaret & T1's bed!! (Well it was their bed on the houseboat delivery trip!)
Now it's sitting on the table in front of me & I'm NOT going to take my eyes off it EVER again!!!
(will it fit under my pillow?)

Like father like son? Didn't you break your leg chasing Joy back into the bus or something similar?

Wired in the new fully automatic Wyngard and turned it on, eureka it works, found 20 channels and all the SBS ones work well, I am impressed considering we are 40ks from Bundy and parked up against a shed, I dont think the wind up antenna would have done any better. Tomorrow I will mount the unit to the roof.
