Don't know yet Shirley, the ears may also go silent for a while and need grommets putting in, Might be looking at them putting the stomach PEG in as this swallowing is not happy. Also taking Sucralfate Oral Suspension to help with getting liquids down. I think I should go back to see my favorite Gas man in NZ for him to keep me knocked out for the next 2 weeks whilst all this shite is going on

On ACA right now they are showing that girl Cloe with what I have CRPS aka RSD . I had it it first way back when my L) wrist was injured in 1993 it has calmed over the years but as you know it has returned back in my R) hand after the graft was done for this last op. I have had every type of treatment for this condition and I agree hypnosis is a goer.. will get back to it asap. Woo hoooooo finally someone has taken notice

Totally understand how you must be feeling, hard to be pleasant & bright when you feel totally shite & just having to get up to go each day & get there & back, at least your halfway thru the treatment. Hard when you can't even swallow water, do they ever keep folk in hospital for the treatment?
Feel for George too, no good him seeing you suffer & not being able to ease your problems.

Does put strain on the partner as you know all too well but in one way it is the "ultimate test" for want of a better choice of words. I think you have to be mad not to realise that you need help and if you don't ask then you are asking for trouble, I used to try to hide things but no more. I am hoping that I can get through without any more "days off" so the end stays at the same time as we thought. We have plans to makeShirley wrote: ↑Fri Jul 06, 2018 8:05 pm Totally understand how you must be feeling, hard to be pleasant & bright when you feel totally shite & just having to get up to go each day & get there & back, at least your halfway thru the treatment. Hey, Dottie,
You have your head on right-way-round...
If you don't ask for help, no-one knows, and no-one offers... well, mostly if they offer some help it's not what/how you want it.
Experience speaks.
The only way through is to concentrate on what you're planning for AFTER the treatment.
ONYA, GIRL!!
Love & prayers from me & SWMBO.

Nah, 'cause not. If some of us starting prayin' the church would fall in.
I was just saying that if you or Gman need any support then say so. Or maybe even a little help to prepare the morphine.

Just be careful they don't slip any little blue pills in the drug mix. Not being able to swallow might get the little blue pill stuck half way, then you'll end up with a stiff neck as well
Ray might be correct about your head being on the right way but are you sure they didn't cross thread it when they were screwing it back on? Could be part of the problem eh
