We’ve just had our levelling rams serviced... they Failed To Proceed on our SA trip.
Tomorrow having the semi-functional 2003 radio/CD replaced with a 2018 Alpine model with Bluetooth & all the bells and whistles.
Engine service next week.
Then we start packing in preparation for b*gg^~ing off in a generally Northerly direction at end of the month.
Qld Outback is the general idea...

I remember reading that a US bus company decided to change the signage on the nose of their vehicles after someone pointed out what it read in the rear view mirror. The company simply had their name in one word: MIAMI.

After an exiting few days of pulling the inside of Vik's Avida apart to get the wiring from the roof to the battery box for the solar, I discovered an interesting cover panel attaching technique, 2 bits of double sided tape at the bottom and wedged into a gap in the pelmet at the top. The cover piece hides the runner for the chain dive that lifts and lowers the bed.
Now there is a hole in the roof, one in the floor and a slot ripped up the inside face of this cover panel (5 ply with fancy face bits on each side) to allow the 4 x 6B&S cables to run down out of sight. With a bit of luck I'll add photos tomorrow, the roof and floor construction is ..... interesting

T1, I will look forward to the photos as I don't reckon that they will have changed install techniques since 'ever'. I need to do a lot of clean up work and add a bit more solar before we get a T1 Lithium conversion on the Alpine. Just fixing a water leak behind the shower. Interesting assembly methods used!
