Mungo MacCallum is a direct descendant of William Charles Wentworth, he of Blaxland, Lawson and Wentworth who finally found a way across the Blue Mountains and opened up western NSW to farming.
W. C. Wentworth went on to become a noted Parliamentarian.
By coincidence Mungo has a cousin, William Charles Wentworth, who is a NSW MP.
