Just the two. They will replace the smaller ones on the camper. I am also running a 220 watt portable. I would have liked to squeeze a couple of bigger panels on but the price for the 50s is pretty good.

I think the two 50w panels mounted with lexan thermoclear under them and the aluminium plate and 4 mm stud glued to the camper roof will do the job fine. With only 2 x 50w panels there is no need for the diodes either so that will make fitting them up easier.

The portable connects into a common regulator. So all panels will be connected.

I do similar on my TD Craig.
I've got 80w on the roof and plug in a 130w when necessary, or just for the heck ovit. 8-)
My TD is generally in a carport so the roof mounted is not of much use, but I use the 130 to keep things as they should be when at home.

I fitted the two 50 watt flexible panels. Had a change of plan when it came to mounting them Terry, simply due to the shape of the front of the van.

Flat aluminium extrusion (50mm x 6mm). Drilled, tapped and countersunk bolts. I loctite them in place and they are flush on the underside. I also countersunk the pop rivets to allow a flush mounting surface.

The old panels were mounted over the top of the cable entry point and were sealed with a squirt of silastic. I wanted something a little bit better than that so I knocked up a couple of junction boxes with cable glands

Nice job Craig, a slight variation on the mounting idea is what adaption and innovation is all about and it looks great, well done. Not many vans have an area flat enough to put a length of alli strip like that without having hollows under it that create water traps resulting in water leaks from spots that never leaked before .... so guess who gets blamed for the water leak  So we went with the separate foot idea so uneven surfaces didn't cause an issue and when we mount the rigid panels with long alli angle pieces we leave drain channels where ever there is a low spot so the rain can take its normal path off the roof.
