Lovbely Rain

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

Gee I hope the rain we are getting in Adelaide is going further inland. The farmers really need it.

I think it has added some to our tanks here in Mannum and maybe the grass at home might start to regrow as we actually had a few puddles in the dirt for a while. I doubt it will be enough to get the fruit trees to bear any fruit again this yr but at least it might stop them from dying.
The other breat thing about the rain, not near as cold in the mornings when it's been raining all night 8-)

14mm in Crystal Brook overnight and still a few showers this morning.
Been busy shoveling sh*t for the mates garden. Dug all his veggie plots up and planted the strawberry's and rhubarb and put in lots of seeds as well as pruned the fruit and citrus trees just got to mulch and then work on the front yard.
Bloody hard work this looking after mates who get sick LOL.
Couple of weeks an then hopefully I can organise a ride back to the boat to relax.

Gee sorry Dot. They only went to Adelaide Thursday and thy could have got some but bit late now. Might have to check if my has divided on the boat.
Mate is not allowed to fence anymore and besides too far for his son to come as he doesn't leave home before about 14:00 and most days it is too late to start, wonders why it takes so long to finish a job.
My main job here is to see He does not do any work and that is why I am trying to get his gardening done. was going to mulch all the weeds and trimmings today but just started to blow and went to about 30 kms in about 10 minutes so that may be out of the question.
All horse shit unloaded and distributed so that is done. The compost bin is full as well as a pile for the chooks to scratch over as a reserve.

I was going to do it when all the paper work had been done and I could get back into these things :) . I was just thinking a simple treated pine poles and sheep/goat wire, even chook wire would do.

Rained just enough today at Dora Creek, NSW to stop us playing bowls, spent the time playing Hoy with playing cards, team against team, half the time when you won the hoy when the result of the end was read you lost points, lots of laughter, we ended up loosing 15-16.
Hopefully no rain tomorrow & we might get a game at our club, it can rain at night as we do desperately need it or late arvo will be ok :D
