Yep,
there is someone on CMCA forum (I think) with a broken auto. They can't find parts, repair manual or even a replacement auto the last time I read..... let alone someone that can help.
Would be a disaster if your not near home.

I looked at one of these about eight years ago, actually took one for a drive at the time, basically they were built for the northern Japanese snowfields and are no longer made and were never sold here new.
The running gear is basically the same as a Mega cruiser which again were never sold here and were a Japanese domestic vehicle. As has been said parts are/will be the biggest problem, things like the engine and transmission computer which are unique to this vehicle as it was the only Toyota/Hino vehicle to ever have this engine/transmission combo so parts are non obtainium, the list goes on. The engine and transmission were used in other Toyota vehicles but never together, the trans is also only a 4 speed and they rev hard at touring speeds and consequently like a drink.
Wheels are different front and rear and are 17" and not a great range of suitable tyres, you can't have the same wheels as the front has portal hubs and the rear a standard dual setup, a great concept but could be a nightmare if it stopped!
Apart from some of the actual body and interior trim there is not much that is the same as a 2wd coaster as everything underneath is different even the chassis.
A locally converted 4WD coaster might be a better idea as they tend to use commonly available parts but a Coaster body won't really stand up to thousands of k's of corro's and rough outback roads long term, I know they use them out in the outback but the bodies really cop a hammering.
