The wind was so strong the rain was horizontal!
Couldn’t get out the door to have a look at the beach.
We’ve moved up the coast a bit to Kingston SE.
No difference...
Might have to sit out the storm for a day or two.
We’re camped in the RV Park.
Thirty seconds before this photo, ONE seagull saw Joy toss out some week-old potato salad.

Well, after much excitement (see "Amazing Discovery" post) and a distinct curtailing of our access to the internet, we finally returned on 30 November to a garden which had been successfully kept alive by our house-sitters. Likewise the hounds. 
We thank John & Faye ("Riverlander" & Mrs Riverlander) for their generous hospitality over two-and-a-half days. We were grateful that they ferried us about Loxton to see all the Christmas decorations, to the launch of the 'Light Up Loxton' festival the day we lucked in with our arrival, the amazing Christmas Wonderland (which John helped set up, as usual), and even drove us to Renmark, 40km away!
Thank you. We'll be back to see your home renovations completed.
