An update. Kelly Lee is out of the high dependency ward and in a bed in the same ward but no longer has a one on one nurse ratio. She walked with us to the patient lounge area yesterday, still needs a walking stick but walked better than she has for sometime, so hopefully this might be a turning point to a recovery from her chronic back pain. She still has no feeling from the lower back to her knees, but hopefully physio will address this problem, at least she has the use of her legs again.
We have travelled on down to the Wollongong area to catch up with friends for a few days and try to get a replacement spare wheel for the Mazda that actually fits properly
Hopefully we will be back in Mannum sometime next week if all goes well. Thank you everybody for you good wishes and prayers

We is back in Mannum for the moment at least, no idea when or where we will have to dart off to next so we plan to make the most of the time we are here and have a rest
Kelly-Lee is back home where she lives in Canberra and seems to be coping well, a much relieved young lady that she isn't now a paraplegic nor in the immense back pain she has suffered for going on 6 yrs. As it seems to be the way these days, until the problems gets to an extremely serious condition, nothing much more than pain relief is offered rather than looking for the cause of the problem.
