I CALLED THE PRESIDENT OF WORLD BANK AND ASKED HIM TO MAKE MY SON THE CEO.
HE SAID, "NO."




I TOLD HIM, "MY SON IS BILL GATES' SON-IN-LAW."
HE SAID, "OK."



AND THAT'S EXACTLY HOW POLITICS WORKS.



And thus began the practice of hiring dumb arses to work in influential positions of government. The practice is unbroken to date.

Actually, how bad could that arrangement be? Bill Gates knows very little about computers, he knows about business, the world bank consists of people who live well outside the real world so guidance from someone with links outside that bubble could only be a good thing. This bloke knows how to get things to happen judging by the way he manipulated people to get his son in the position he wanted. Each person who was manipulated could see the advantages of having these family links.
The children will only be an extension of the people who are really skilled, but they will learn these skills the more they use them.
What was created was a combination of power that wasn't there before, and that is nothing like how politics works

Ummm....... Basically, the whole thing ends up with the people with real knowledge about how to get things done get a front row seat by proxy into a lot of the major controlling forces within the world economy, and that isn't how any politician really functions is it? The bit about "with real knowledge about how to get things done" is the give away
