Hot enough today at 40deg, bloody hell wait till tomorrow going to be higher. Today is the first day we had the air con on from 4pm till 9.30pm so that super roof paint must be doing it's job. Off to the city again tomorrow arvo thank god for modern cars and aircon. Even the boys on bikes have had their mileage shortened due to the heat. Hang in there Deborah get the info you need then adjust his ways to yours. I loved my dremel when it was time to do my Dobe's nails. At the very last moment of today's class, I finally finished my first piece..what a blasted fiddle fart. Now I understand why most gold n silver jewellery is so expensive. It's not the actual gold or the rock, but the many hours spent doing so many fiddly steps.

So hot here at the showgrounds at 10pm, but during the day I was working in air conditioned comfort. Nearly finished making a ring and very happy with it... using a piece of my glass instead of a cheap rock that was offered as part of the cost of the course.

It's still very hot here tonight, but we are managing with all the windows open to get a little bit of fresh air. Finished the ring today, very happy with it. Will see how it goes. Now I'm trying a quicker method of setting the glass onto a silver wire frame. This will be interesting.
Learning new stuff is very tiring, so off to get my ugly sleep now.

I promise to do some photos of the actual jewellery that I have made soon. Will probably put them on facebook page for Dot to see them. I am not able to get them here. I failed computer stuff very badly.
Well all three jewellery pieces are finally up to standard. I dont think that I will be doing this for most of my work, but will use the skills learnt on special pieces for people who ask for them, and who will pay a deposit in advance for my special orders. Anyway, this heat as learning, have stuffed me again,'
