Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!
No Ray I dont always sprinkle after gardening It fell from above.
Toady we finished doing the jobs sister wanted done, with a lot of weeding. Now her driveway looks better and she will see any wriggly sticks in the way now. Our work is done for a while, so we are heading South tomorrow. Depending on how I feel, the traffic and the weather, we could end up anywhere between Port Macquarie and home.
Bloody hot again but Oh my Thursday is going to be a beauty 46 they say I get so angry when I see stupid humans walking their dogs in this heat, their paws get badly burnt. I went out to spray the birds this arvo with no shoes on and it was so dam hot on my tootsies I hopped skipped and sort of jumped back in side and it was only 10 ft so imagine how a dogs paws feel? Went to the lymphoedema & Laser clinic today, The lady did 45 mins of gentle massage on my neck then used a thing like a vacuum for 15 mins, I left there looking like I had a neck full of love bites (I wish) anyway back to normal now and go back in 3 weeks for laser treatment. So goodnight everyone x Goodnight Grandad x P.S Our block sale has gone through.

Dottie,
You'll just have to learn some self-control... especially if Chuckie's about...
Last NINE days we've had forecasts of 41+... under our veranda we've recorded 50.5!
Our tame magpie family (which has grown from two to seven over the four years they've been visiting) were standing in the back yard in the shade, and panting. They were so desperate they were sitting on the rim of the dogs' bucket & dunking their heads. So we broke out the sprinkler hose & fired it up... for the next hour they played in the water, fluffing out their feathers, jumping over the hose and generally enjoying themselves.
We were treated to a chorus of massed carolling as a thankyou.

Good to see some treatment is helping you Dot. xxxx
Nice one Ray. That's what I will try when we finally return home tomorrow. The birds need as much help as we can give them.
We drove as far as Karuah today and the heat was unbearable. Even the air con in the prado was struggling. So now we are in the van with a lovely strong southerly breeze howling through the windows and doors. It is so nice to feel cool.
After so much heat, I am stuffed,
so sleep well you lot and goodnight xxx
"tanks" here---
My feelings for all of the down South people who are having the high heat.
You could set the motor home or caravan air con to a comfortable temp and sit-it-out for a day in the van thinking that you are on the road and camped up at some nice area.
It would help the electricity supply only cooling a small area rather than cooling the whole house.
Take a few WEIS BARS with you for the Claytons trip.
The Dysart Bunker temp is expected to reach 32c today, so it is sit under the mango tree with a good book and a comfortable chair and enjoy the breeze.
Keith.
I'm now 87 years old, having experienced another birthday, and I'm still living in WA, single (gave up looking), white hair, no teeth, no money, no worries.
I plan to have another birthday next year.
