Another hot one here, so almost a repeat of yesterday. At lunchtime, I commented on how the floor rug was deteriorating near the windows with sun damage. Lo and behold, the local facebook sellers page had a carpet rug of the exact size . I was onto that almost as soon as she posted it. So off we went across the lake (only a little bit though) to Wyee and came home with a lovely new rug. My dining room in the sun, now looks muchus betterus.
It was a lucky find. Then a friend in our jayco club, put up a satelite dish for the van for sale, well we jumped on that too. So two purchases made today, thanks to facebook.

Nice cool breeze has arrived. Taking our friends little dog to the vet tomorrow morning where she will have her ACL repaired, this is the 2nd one she has done Cooked up a heap of our plums today ready for next big trip away I know it is early but very tired so goodnight everyone x Goodnight Riverlander x

Last night, I was knackered, so went to bed before I turned the computer on. The heat is a little bit more bearable today, but tomorrow will be another horrible hot one. Summer, bah humbug. Beats snow any day.

I braved the tax today. So it's all ready to take to the accountant now. I will ring and make an appointment tomorrow to get it all sent off to the taxman. Such fun.........not.

Visited the quack this afternoon, to have my self diagnosis checked up on. Yes the facial neuraglia is back (with a vengeance) and now I need to be back to a higher dose of Lyrica again. Luckily I had some small dose pills to take with me to Bellingen, or I would not have survived the week. He reckons it is common to have it return, so he is happy for me to treat any outbursts asap. That way the dose that will help it doesn't have to be the highest possible. I will be off them asap. Dot will tell you, these are nasty steroids, but they do help this problem.

Lyrica was good for my leg paralysis when I had my spinal surgery but like all of those meds better to be off them if you can. Took my friends little dog to the vet this morning to have her ACL repaired, she is staying there over night and we shall pick her up lunch time tomorrow, then it is 6 weeks of her doing O so we have to carry her outside for the loo. Ready for another few days of HOT weather, all the shrubs have been sunburnt and the lawn is looking like it has been sprayed in patches with weed killer . Today we woke to find we had no solar power..weird. Called the installer, who was great and came asap. While he was driving to us, the power returned, even weirder. After some fiddling, he found that the wires from the solar panels are rusty and causing the shorting. H e did a temporary fix and will get back to us, once the supplying company gives him a decent fix to make sure this never happens again. PITA

After lunch I sat down for some quiet time, turned on the tv and heard a dribbling sort of noise. It was the air con dripping onto the wall unit, which in turn was dripping down the shelves as it formed a bigger puddle. Looking at the damage to the top of the wall unit, this has been happening for a while. It was only that we have had some extreme days that are over 40 degrees with 90% humidity, that has probably made the issue more obvious. I put a large measuring jug under it to catch the drips and over tonight, it has caught 2 cups of water . So that is yet another weird problem in the lair. I guess that will be another service call to make tomorrow...bugga.

"tanks" here---Dot,
I'm going ok and the breathing is improving a little bit. I got out into the back garden yesterday---I -did'nt do anything, but it was nice just sitting out in the sun for a while.
I had a good talk with Cuppa on the phone while he is waiting for some more rain and wind. He wants to have a cyclone to see what it is like-----{I have been through 4 of them and don't want to go that way again}.
I also had a good chat with Ash & Wendy and got their new blog address from them as the old server closed down some time ago so their blogs have not been coming to me.
I woke up this morning and it is FEBRUARY already.
T-1 is on his way to the "other place" to regain his sanity, and the Dysart Bunker is open for visitors.
I have to visit the Physio at the hospital this afternoon as part of the fix-your-back thingo

A busy day and it will get busier from now on for a few weeks (6) Picked up little Rosy from the vet after her op yesterday, I am to pick her up to take out for her toilet duties, pills every 8 hrs, gentle massage & physio to her leg and then apply an ice pack for 5 minutes. Have her in Brian's fold up pen, plenty of room for her but not too big for her to do any damage. I was giving the apple tree a good watering and out ran a mouse from under the straw, that was the end of anything else I was off Time for more dog attention so goodnight everyone x Goodnight Terry & Margaret x
