Dot I thought you would be braver than that, it's only a little tiny mouse. In her plant shop, my Mum used to throw the old throw down crackers at the walls if she suspected that she heard a mouse. Apparently, loud noises will give them a heart attack. I have used this theory and it really does work. So take the shotgun with you when apple picking and you only have to aim around the blighters. Happy hunting xxxx

Today was a ridiculous waste of time day. Chiropractor was wonderful and removed a lot of stress from my neck. Then optus wrecked the day. Last bill said that I owed $80 instead of the $60 that I had been paying. Apparently that had been a special discount that was for 24 months only. Maybe they expected that the phone would not last that long, but I don't remember being told that the price had an expiry date. Amazingly, they can now give me exactly the same things for $35 a month, but it will only last a year, so mark the calendar to make sure to come back before 1st Feb!

What a waste of my time. anyway it;s past my bed time again, so nighty night all of you out there xxx

I love most animals apart from snakes, mice and rats (human rats as well) Mice have a cute face but it is their tail that freaks me out, when our pet possum would wrap her tail around my neck I would just freeze yelling "get her off" once again it was the underside of her tail that set me off. Mice bring snakes and snakes bring out the chop chop Watched the Nth to Sth trip of NZ, if you haven't been to the Sth Isl and done the boat trip around the Milford sounds you are missing the best scenery in the world. Been a warm day again. the little Rosy dog has been doing well, a bit quiet but that's how she should be. Twas our wedding anniversary today and did we go out for a slap up meal? I had a bowl of chicken 2 min noodles without the noodles and a protein drink, Gman had a lovely ham salad Only 2130hrs but I have had it for today so goodnight everyone x Goodnight Craig x

Yes Shirley thats a mobile plan.... amazing that you can get a good deal as long as you go into the shop, and preferably before your older contract is up.

Today I had a friend of a friend, come to buy some of my excess studio stuff. She took off with 2 kilns, shelving racks for glass, a grinder and heaps of information. I spent a few hours with her, sharing where I buy glass from, how I pack to travel the stall, how to market it and all sorts of stuff. It was interesting to see what I have learnt over the years. It just sort of creeps up on you. One day you know zilch and suddenly there is a font of knowledge.

So then our daughter arrived with family and we have had a very busy afternoon. It took a lot of energy, so I am totally stuffed.

A nasty hot day it twas. But if that is all I have to complain about compared to the poor buggers going through the fires and floods. Our doggie sit had a few hrs off as Rosy's mum came and took her home for a while and will be bringing her back before midnight because she is back to work tomorrow. That's it for me tonight, knackered from doing O. Rosy dog is going home tomorrow evening as her mum has 2 days off. The one and only tomato plant that I planted this year produced 3 tomatoes and slowly died even though it was in a large pot, I used the potting mix recommended, I fed it with sea weed stuff, gave it some cow poo and watered it as told and the mongrel up and died so that's it for my food growing attempts EVER. Dont give up on the food thing just yet. Somehow we have an infestation of tiny tomato plants. The tomatoes are all tiny and sweet, and they are thriving. We have this huge patch of them, that we did not plant. Our granddaughter thought it was so much fun to pick her own tomatoes and eat them while they were still hot from the sun. I am throwing bunches of them into the frying pan whenever I cook and they are delicious. So just hurl out a few small tomatoes into the garden and you too will be eating lots of tiny toms. The plants get no special treatment, just the occasional water. xxxx

Today was a continue to find the shed day. I had another delivery of clear plastic boxes, so had to keep up on finding bench space. I have already cleared out a lot of stuff, but there is more to go. Some of the glass from my stained glass days, is going to a new home next week. I can't use it with what I am doing, so it seems a waste to have it all sitting around filling up space. Apart from that, I painted some kiln shelves ready for firing tomorrow and am just exhausted.
