Re: Nightly Goodnight Everyone
Ray the answer to your question was both but alas he likes those F--- cars.
Very quiet day today, but tomorrow afternoon I will be in a friends back yard with 24 little 9 week old puppies.
Love the smell of puppies. The weather is warming up for the next week back to the hot end of the thermometer, hope Terry gets back before it hits. George sold his metal lathe and also his band saw today making a bit more room in the shed. Next is the ride on.
So goodnight everyone x

Getting hot enough for bus weather Dot? xxxx
Helen, thanks for the good wishes, but not this week. This is a jayco weekend with our caravan club (who are all as mad as I am).
Today we watched some fun stock horse events and then went out to a three course dinner, catered by a local chef and helped by the local school kids. really well organised and totally delicious meal. After that amazing meal they put on the entertainment. A really good lady bush poet, followed by the school choir and school dancing (really well done), a whip cracking champion and some andulosian horses doing a display. The finale, was some stock men and women, riding their stock horses and carrying huge Australian flags. The man who organised this did the Sydney olympics opening ceremony. So the horses all lined up and galloped around the oval, then what followed could best be described as ballet on horseback. This was a polished performance, not a horse out of place at any time and it continued for about 20minutes. To say that we were amazed is too little a word, gobsmacked might be a better description.
sleep well you lot, nighty night xxx

Deb,
Sounds like you visited the Australian Bush Show (whatever it's called) near DreamWorld, Wet 'n' Wild, and all the other 'Worlds' near the Gold Coast/Surfers Paradise...

Re: Nightly Goodnight Everyone
Dot you have had some adventure today then.......lovely puppy adventure for a while then , stay sane my dear. xxxx
Yep Ray, it did feel a bit like the Gold Coast show, only it was tiny Murrurundi, just a big bit North West of Scone NSW, population just a little over 1,000.
Today we watched bull n brumby riding, a cross country horserace and children in billy carts, behind feral goats. No child or goat was injured in the races and as far as we could see, they all had a fun time. We came home very late and now I'm stuffed.
goodnight one and all xxx
