Nightly Goodnight Everyone

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

Surprise that you get some curls now Dot. Wont recognise you if we ever meet. xxxx

had a busy day at the lair, just finishing off a kiln firing of past misfires. Then had to collect some parcels. Woohoo, it was two separate orders of glass from USA. I was like a kid in a candy store. So much pretty sparkly stuff. I was in awe for a while, but then got down and sorted it into the two different types of glass that I work in (neither the two shall meet) so then I sorted them into their subgroups ( some have a black base and some is totally clear-ish) and put the pieces away in the appropriate side of my shed. I cant wait to start using some of this, it does make me want to stay home to play for a while, but then, if I dont sell anything, I cant keep on making stuff. Be interesting to see what we do sell. Last year it was slim pickings due to the drought, now the drought is still an issue, probably wont get rich this year either.

goodnight from me xxx
Deborah

some is totally clear-ish
Deb,
I'm confused.

It's all right , I think it;s hell burning over. They just missed getting a few of us down there again! Stay cool xxxx

Ray, It;s hard to explain...here goes. Some of my glass comes with a black base so you can see the dichroic coating fairly clearly. The rest of it, looks quite clear until you hold it up to a light or over a dark green surface and then you can see the fine metal coatings that make up the dichroic coating. I dont understand why the dark green makes it seem like a true image of how it will fire, but it really does help me to decided which pieces of glass to put next to another. Other colours of cutting mats, have not had the same helpful effect.

Had the pest an come today. so that stuffed the morning. Had to do a few errands and then a quick grocery shop. With the anchor following behind whining that he hates grocery shopping, after he put a few extras into the trolley, he almost became friendly again. gggrrr Once all that had been delivered to the kitchen and put away, we were both stuffed. So an afternoon nap was had all round.

So it's a goodnight from me too xxx

Hmmm...
In our household the roles are reversed. It's SWMBO who hates shopping. A necessary evil to her...

George and I have been out in the bus just putting a few things back in after she came back from the mechanic but first she had to be de dusted. I am determined to get away this June have been housebound far too long so no matter what, we will be off. Off to the GP for usual check up tomorrow so I just might sneak into the Buntings place to see what's new ;) So it is goodnight everyone x :) Goodnight Mr Bandit x :D

Get that bus ready Dot, it's always a great place to start looking forward. xxxx

Shirley, I need him to do the lifting, I physically cannot cope with these things (uncle Arthur at his worst). He is the worst anchor at the hammer shop, " What do you need that for?", "Haven't you got enough of them yet?" "What do you mean they wear out? ". I try to escape sometimes with out him, but at the moment while I am taking the dreaded Lyrica, I refuse to drive. It messes with the brain too much to risk other people's lives.

Today was a tidy up the business day. I checked all the containers that we have enough of everything possibly known to woman....bet there is some silly little thing that I have missed. Then I came upstairs and checked all the bookwork. I had to chase up bookings with 4 different organisers and one caravan park that had not sent a confirmation. It seems to me that it's a sort of arrogance to expect the traders to hunt on their website or facebook page to get an application form every year. But there were 4 lots who have done just that. No notices sent to my email account, no nothing and I have been a regular at their events for over 7 years. So a rush of activity here, to get signed up and paid up for the festivals. Especially the one at Grafton at the end of March.

Well that's your lot of whinging for tonight (sorry about that)

goodnight one and all xxx
Deborah
