Good morning, another lovely day 17, no bowling today, sore throat & flu like symptoms, think I've caught it from Bruce & I have already had the injection, I'll have to sit in the sun

Good morning all from winderful sunny QLD. Know the feeling Lesley from all the years we spent in the southern half of Austrialia.
Another day of Appts. Poor Bruce,I am keeping well away from himat the moment.He has a cheat inf following sore throat and this is the first time since he started flu vac. and that was a longggg time ago. We only got them a couple of weeks ago so maybe that is the reason.

One wonders if the sudden flu outbreak increase isn't related to the vaccination itself. I wonder if there are any stats regarding the cases of the flu against whether the sufferer had had their vac shot or not?
I'm not anti vac shots, I just wonder if in this case the body can't build up enough resistance fast enough to beat the small dose injected in and weakens it sufficiently for the serious version to take hold.
I'm still sitting on the fence as to whether I get the flu shot or not, on one hand there is the prevention is better than cure case and on the other hand, if it ain't broke it don't need fixing .....

Good morning everyone .
We are having our flu shots today only the second time for me but Carol has them each year .
I only had them last year as we were spending all of winter in Tassie , thought it may have been a good idea ? didn't get the flu .

We are in Ravenshoe I am sure the north dislikes us always something turns us back before we have to we thought hot water service was leaking so we did not shower[emoji1787]water still coming anyway wait to find out
