Nightly Goodnight Everyone

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

Another fantastic day it was, G went to the block and sprayed the up and coming weeds before we head off. I am having another CT tomorrow just to satisfy the Oncologist and us as well. I got 3 loads of washing done and all dried nicely as well :D Time to say goodnight everyone x :D Goodnight Tanks & Mr Major x :D
"tanks" here---Dot & George,
Are you coming straight up to the Dysart Bunker for the warm weather or are you doing the around-about circuit.
I have a cold WEIS BAR for George, and a can of Condensed Milk for you to suck on. Major is back from the dog hospital and the vet has given him the all ok.

Deb,
Know what you mean... after Big C treatment with Big Chemo, I also feel the cold more than I used to. That’s why I lurv our wood heater!! :D
There’s a local wrinkle to our weather reporting— the shadow box containing the official thermometer is in a depression, where the cold air settles on still nights, so if there’s no wind the overnight minimum is lower than the actual in town.
We have a wireless weather station in our house, with a remote sensor on our South-facing back veranda. I trust it more than the Met Bureau figures. :?
Case in point: BoM says it’s 7*C @ 22:48. (No wind tonight) Our weather station says it’s 14*C on our veranda now.
Regards & God bless,
Ray

Nice day again today but the rain is a coming. Have been making up Brian's food ready to pack in the freezer and of course food to last George 3 mths. I got bananas today and so decided to freeze them for my smoothies whilst out where no bananas grow. Tanks we are hopefully heading up the middle then turning left to meet up with some friends so can't give you any ETA at the moment. What happened to Mr Major? hope he is fit now. Off to bed now so goodnight everyone x :D Goodnight Grandpa x :D

Dot is the forcast for rain, or are your joints all creaky and giving you a personal weather warning? Take it easy mate xxxx

Well I have spent a lot of time in my shed to help me to stay sane. My new (10 day old) phone decided to just not do anything late Wednesday. Optus have taken it in for repairs and maybe a new phone replacement. Not impressed with that offer. I asked for a new phone that is not the same model, along the consumer affairs theory of a repair, replace, or refund at my choice. I will be having a chat with the office of the telecoms ombudsman on Monday, just to be sure of my rights before I return to optus. I have had no problems with samsung phones over many years, but since this episode, I have heard many stories about other people with samsung problems. So that's my latest dilemma.

goodnigght one and all.xxx

"tanks" here ---Dot---Major is ok now and back at the Dysart Bunker.
Bananas at the local I G & A are almost $1.00 each, so stock up before you head up this way.
Also note that tomatoes are 85c each at Coles OnLine---that is for ONE TOMATO !!!.
A small drumhead cabbage is $8.00 at the local I G & A.
Why are vegies and fruit so expensive nowdays. I am sure the grower does not get paid a lot for growing the produce.

You must have been reading my mind Dot. I planned to make a few dozen sausage rolls for the travel freezer. (Didn't happen, too busy cooking his nibs a roast chooked for his tea) It will be so great when you can finally eat the blasted things xxxx

Had an adventure to aldi today. Our toaster is doing a slow burn, so when they sent me an add, I said yes that will do and bought a cheaper than usual 4 slice toaster. Seems to work fine, so all good here. SPent the afternoon in my shed, just perfect.

goodnight to you all xxx

This time next week we should be camped somewhere along a road. :D Today we went to have morning tea with Lesley & Erich down the road at Potts reserve, the wind was blowing and it was dam cold, poor Erich and me (the skinny ones) were being brave sitting under the awning  I think the fat bum mooners need to regather again for the newly formed saggy assed mooners. We then headed home and had a visitor by the name of John Davie, some may remember him from the CF when Brickus told of John and his wife love story, it was then that his wife died and so George and I went to the funeral (to rep the CF) Since then we have kept in contact. Then another ding dong door bell and it was our house sitter Flo and her dog Rosy. They are staying here while we are away and waiting for her property sale to be finalized so suits us all. Bus is just about ready to roll will take her for a run in the next few days just to make sure everything is working as she should. Waiting for the OK from the oncologist after he has seen the CT. Time to have a shower then hit the sack. It was really nice to see how well Erich was looking along with Lesley, she has not changed at all. :D So it's a goodnight from me :D x and a goodnight to all the people that broke the world record for the longest line of rigs at Barcaldine (sp) x :D

That's the longest goodnight for you in a long while Dot. :D :D :D Fingers and toes are crossed for that oncologist report. xxxx

Took a couple of repair/re-fired plates out of the kiln today. One is good enough for house use, the other is a mess. It cracked into 2 very ugly pieces, so into the glass scrap bin. It will become a thing of beauty one day (I hope).

goodnight everyone xxx
